A Night That I will Always Remember
My first time watching NXT live was incredible. Everything was awesome, from the ladder match to the pre-show dark matches. I was accompanied by a friend who was a huge wrestling fan, as I am just an avid fan of wrestling. Since the attitude era, I have been a fan of WWF/WWE/ECW, but now WWE feels more like a family show rather than a PG-13, R-rated television show. When my friend mentioned that NXT is more reminiscent of the old WWE, I had to witness it for myself. The opportunity to buy tickets arose the day before Summerslam, and I didn't think twice about it. The pre-show matches were entertaining, including an 8-man tag team match that added to the fun. Witnessing Japan's Jushin Liger perform for the first time in NXT was fascinating and piqued my interest in Japanese wrestling. Samoa Joe's submission maneuver knocking out his opponent and the ladder match between Kevin Owens and Finn Balor were highlights of the night. However, the women's division stole the show for me. The match between Sasha Banks and the underdog who triumphed against all odds was incredible. Both women showcased their athleticism, strength, and endurance, proving that they can do anything men can do, but better. Overall, it was the best night ever, and I will always remember it.
